EMPOWERING NEURODIVERSITY IN GEORGIA

For Neurodivergent Adults, Advocates, Professional Supporters, and Businesses

Welcome to the Georgia

Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce

Did you know 20% of the population is neurodivergent? They bring exceptional creativity, problem-solving, and innovation to our community and Georgia businesses. Yet stigma and outdated norms continue to limit work and community opportunities.

The numbers tell the story:

  • Unemployment for neurodivergent adults in the U.S. runs as high as 30–40% — roughly three times the rate for people with physical disabilities and eight times the rate for non-disabled adults.
  • Among autistic adults specifically, an estimated 85% are unemployed or underemployed — including many who hold college degrees.
  • Three out of four autistic workers receive no workplace adjustments.

Why the GANCC and Why Join Us

We are building a community using practical tools, trusted connections and lasting impact. GANCC is dedicated to bridging the gap between neurodivergent individuals, families, service providers and businesses. We focus on delivering practical solutions, creating meaningful opportunities, and building a stronger, more inclusive community. Our Chamber is intentionally building a neurodiversity ecosystem across the state — one where every part of the community is connected, supported, and strengthened.
